BILLING FAQs

  • I currently receive several bills for my telephone and Internet service. Can Broadview Networks consolidate these on one invoice?
Yes. Broadview can combine all of your Local, Long Distance, Internet and Data services all on one monthly bill.
  • What period does my Broadview bill cover?
Broadview’s billing period runs from the first day of the month to the last day of the month.
  • I just received my first bill and it is higher than I expected...Why?
Some of your telephone charges are billed in advance. For example, access line charges and calling features for the upcoming month appear on the most current bill. Charges for pro-rated items are calculated starting from your first date of service with Broadview through the start date of your billing cycle. This fractional billing period amount is added to the charges for the upcoming full month billing period. Please note that all charges are adjusted to reflect the number of days of actual service. Any charges that you paid in advance to your previous carrier(s), and were not used, should be credited to you by your previous carrier(s) on your final bill(s). When you add new services that are billed on a fixed monthly basis, you may again see pro-rated charges on your bill. What do I do if I continue to receive bills from my previous carrier? Contact your pervious carrier and tell them the date when you switched your services to Broadview.
  • I have offices in multiple states. Can Broadview bill all locations on one master invoice?
Yes, Broadview’s billing system will allow you to aggregate several locations onto one summary bill. Your new invoice will still detail exact charges for each location, so your company can see the calling patterns of each location.
  • What are all the taxes and surcharges on my bill?
Taxes and surcharges on your telephone bill are mandated by the local, state and federal agencies. InfoHighway is required by the government to collect all taxes and surcharges from its customers. Since these charges are set by the government, all phone companies charge similar surcharges.
  • Can I track calls made from my office by department, projects or clients?
Yes. You can monitor your calls and expenses by assigning Account Codes. Each Account Code will have its own summary page on the bill.
  • What form of payment can I use to pay my bill?
Our preferred and recommended method of payment is EasyPay, which is our automated payment process utilizing a credit card or checking account debit. Please call our Customer Service department at 1 (800) 562-4206 to sign up for EasyPay today!

In addition, you can send a check or money as payment. Please allow time for your payment to reach us by the due date that is on your invoice.

  • What number do I call if I have a billing question or if I think there is a error on my bill?
You can call our Customer Service Center at 1-800-320-6372 for bill inquires and Order/Change in service Monday thru Friday from 8AM to 6PM EST.
